-       Forma affermativa:

Present Simple -Funzione-

-       Funzione:

Il Present Simple serve per indicare abitudini, situazioni permanenti.

Riconoscibile nella frase grazie a:

- AVVERBI DI FREQUENZA: always, never, usually, often …

- GIORNI DELLA SETTIMANA + S

- EVERY + week/month/day

- ONCE/TWICE a week

He usually (avverbio di frequenza - > PRESENT SIMPLE) walks (terza persona singolare - > S) to the school.

Present Continuous

FORMA -ING (eating, running, playing, writing)

-       Forma affermativa:

I + ‘m + verbo alla forma base + ING

You + ‘re + verbo alla forma base + ING

He/she/it + ‘s + verbo alla forma base + ING

We + ‘re + verbo alla forma base + ING

You + ‘re + verbo alla forma base + ING

They + ‘re + verbo alla forma base +ING

 

-       Forma negativa:

You + aren’t + verbo alla forma base + ING

He/she/it + isn’t + verbo alla forma base + ING

Il Present Continuous serve a dare informazioni sulle azioni che avvengono in questo preciso momento o che sono programmate per il futuro.

Si trova nella frase quando c’è:

PRESENTE:

-       Today

-       At the moment

-       Now

-       This week

FUTURO PROGRAMMATO:

-       Tomorrow

-       Next + week/day/month

-       In + mese/data​

PRESENTE: I'm going to the school with Elena at the moment (- > PRESENT CONTINUOUS presente).
