Objectives

This is a class activity.

At the end of this activity students should be able to:

1.       Identify opportunities to reduce waste in their classroom

2.       Create waste separation system.

3.       Calculate the different types of waste that each group (class) generates.

4.       Prepare a report on the waste composition.

Tally the number of paper, plastic, glass, or metal items that is collected as trash for the day.

Store the trash for the next activity.
