Step-By-Step Guide​

1. ​Introduce the issue and the possible sides in a non-confrontational manner

2. ​Map out opposing side's views first

5. ​Find a shared solution that will benefit both sides in some way

1. Get into groups of four​

2. Jigsaw the reading "Letter From Birmingham Jail"

   1. Each person takes a section of your choosing

3. Annotate it as you please

4. Your main objective is to identify which section yours is (step-by-step slide)

5. Hang on to this--as you will use it to write your reading response on the text and how it uses the Rogerian-style of argument. ​
