What are reflex verbs

Reflex verbs are used to talk about the activities which reflect back on the subject.

​Examples:

I wash myself

She dresses herself

We brush ourselves

You wake up yourself

Examples of reflex verbs

s’appeler – To call oneself

se coucher – To go to bed

s’habiller – To dress oneself

se reveiller – To wake oneself

se maquiller – To put make up by oneself

se laver – To wash oneself

se lever – To wake oneself

How to conjugate reflex verbs

It ends with er only

Je  me  stem + e

Tu  te   stem + es

Il   se   stem + e

Elle   se   stem + e

On   se   stem + e

Nous   nous   stem + ons

​Vous   vous   stem + ez

Ils   se   stem + ent

Elles   se   stem + ent

Je me lave
