What was the Lend-Lease Act?

An act that made it okay for the United States to send ships, planes, tanks, and other military equipment to The Allies without becoming directly involved in the war.

A peace agreement signed by France, The United States, Great Britatin, and Germany that essentially blamed Germany for World War I.

Once the Lend-Lease Act passed, the United States Congress also passed the Selective Service Act.

The Select Service Act required more than 1 million ​young men to serve in military by the fall of 1941.

The United states was building up its army, air force, and navy, but we were not yet part of World War II.
