Cross Multiply

One of the easiest ways to compare fractions is to cross multiply. To cross multiply you will multiply the numerator of the first number to the denominator of the second and vice versa

​Multiply the numerator 3 by the denominator 7 and get 21. Write that above the three because that is the numerator used. Then multiply the numerator 4 by the denominator 8 and get 32.
