the definition of mammals -

A warm-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that is distinguished by the possession of hair or fur , the secretion of milk by females for the nouishment of the young , and the birth of live young .

To be called a mammal you have to have hair or fur , you half to be warm blooded , and you half to be able to give birth , and you have to preduce milk , and finall​y you have to have lung and to be able to breath air . did you know there are over thousands speices of mammals .
