  • The class will be divided into three groups. One group per topic:

  • Every group will make a drama/skit of a news report based on their assigned topic.

  • Suppose that your group is reporting on the day of the event. Your 2-3 minute news report should cover the following:

    • Causes of the event (eruption/earthquake/plate boundaries)

    • The extent of the impact on humans (social, economic, etc)

    • ​What steps should people to reduce the effects of the event

  • Roles: News reporter, field reporter, expert, and affected people.
