What is an Indirect Object ?
The indirect object receives the direct object.
(The direct object is the thing that is directly affected by the verb.)

What is a pronoun?
A pronoun replaces a noun so it doesn't sound too repetitive.

These are the same little words that go in front of the verb GUSTAR": me gusta, te gusta, le gusta, nos gusta, les gusta

PRONOUN PLACEMENT
ATTACHED to the INFINITIVE verb.
Example: I'm going to give you a cookie. --> Yo voy a darte una galleta.
BEFORE the CONJUGATED verb:
Example: I'm going to give you a cookie. --> Yo te voy a dar una galleta.

FYI
This is a little strange to non-native speakers, but...
A lot of times, native speakers will include the indirect object in the same sentence with the pronoun. This sounds normal to us and is something that a non-native speaker needs to get accustomed to.
Example:
Yo le voy a dar una galleta a María. (I'm going to give her a cookie to Maria.)
