I'm writing this at the hostel - we've been back here for an hour now. We've had a great day at the wildlife park, but I'm feeling tired and missing home a bit. I _______ _________(not speak) to my mum since Tuesday. ______ she ____________ (forget) me?!

Today was awesome! It was the best day we ______ (have) since we got here on Saturday. We __________ (see) lots of animals since Saturday - we saw a saltwater croc yesterday and that was the best by far.

It was HUGE! It was about five metres long and weighed about 550 kg. Its teeth looked like stones! It's the largest reptile in the world and one of the most dangerous of all the crocodile family.

It can grow to between four and six metres long and weigh up to 1000 kg. It isn't an endangered animal in Australia - there are about 100,000 - 200,000 in the wild and it lives in swamps and rivers.
