Cardiovascular Endurance Exercises
Exercises that make your heart beat fast, make you breathe fast, and work your entire body improve your cardiovascular endurance.
Some examples of cardiovascular endurance exercises are swimming, jumping rope, and biking. Can you think of others?

Flexibility Exercises
Exercises that stretch your muscles or make them feel strain will improve your flexibility.
Some examples of flexibility exercises are stretches and yoga poses. What stretches can you name?

Exercises that strain your muscles to their maximum point of strength will improve your muscular strength.
An example of a muscular strength exercise is max bench press. These types of exercises are not good for young children.

Muscular Endurance Exercises
Exercises that stretch your muscles or make them feel strain will improve your flexibility.
An example of muscular endurance exercises are push ups, sit ups, and lunges. What others do you know?

Exercises that improve your other components of fitness also improve your body composition. The best way to measure your body composition is by using skinfold calipers. These tools measure the amount of body fat. Sometimes people also use height and weight charts, but those are less accurate.
