​وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ
​١. يَا بُنَيَّ لا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ
​٢. يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ
​٣. يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ

Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him

​1.O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah.

​ O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth

​ O my son, establish prayer

١. نَصح لقمان ابنه بإقامة الصلاة، ولم ينصحه بأن يُصَلِّي؛ لأن إقامة الصلاة تعني أي الإتيان بها على أتم حالاتها بكل سكناتها وحركاتها وخشوعها.

الإقامة الأداء بالكمال، والتمام

1. Luqman advised his son to establish the prayer, but did not advise him to pray; To establish prayer means its most complete state, with all its stillness, movement and reverence.

٢. نَصح لقمان ابنه بإقامة الصلاة، ولم ينصحه بأن يُصَلِّي؛ لأن الصلاة أهم عبادة يقوم بها المرء بعد توحيد الله تعالى؛ وبالتالي يجب أداؤها على أكمل وجه وبإتقان
