- Definition: a word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.

  • Usually ends with: -al​ -ful -ive -able -ous -cult -ish -ed -y(ly)​​

- How to use:

​a. Verb:

- ​Definition: a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence.

- ​Usually comes after Subject and Adverb that describe frequency.

b. Adverb:

- Definition: a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group​.

- ​Usually comes after a verb, an object.

- Notes: ​Adverbs can go first in a sentence or before a verb to emphasize the main meaning in a sentence
