​Autonomous government

​It is made up of Parliament. which is responsible for making laws. It´s made up of 70 deputies and is renewed every 4 years.

They are local government​. There´s one in each island. One of its functions is to coordinate the municipalities so that public services function properly.

Is the basic political and territorial organization of the state. There are 88 municipalities in Canary islands​. Some of its functions are: garbage collection, care of parks and beaches, street cleaning, cultural activities...
