A page border is a border that outlines a page.
It usually appears on the outside of the margins of the page.
What is a page border?
What are page borders used for?
Page borders are generally used as decorations or outlines for documents.

On the ribbon, select the "design" tab.
In the "page background" section, select "page borders."
A dialogue box will open. Under the "settings" section of the dialogue box, select the "box" option.
Under the "style" section of the dialogue box, select the pattern style for your border..
Select your border's color under the "color" section.
How to add a border
Under the "width" section, select the size that you want your border to be.
If you would like to add a decorative border, select the "art" section and choose the art design you would like for your borders.
Under the "apply to" section of the dialogue box, select what section of the document you would like the border to appear.
When you are done, select "ok" to apply the border design to your document.
