Skills needed to master this standard:​ Students should be able to read the measurement of the scales using measuring cups, beakers, graduated cylinder, balance pans, and scales. Students will use measurements to complete one-step word problems using mathematical operations.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.MD.B.3: Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.​​

​Students will be able to measure/ estimate liquid volumes and the mass of objects using the standard units of grams (g), Kilograms (Kg) and Liters (l). In addition, addition, subtraction, Multiplication and division are operations that will be used to complete one-step problems involving volume and mass.
