Pokémon: The Japanese Start
Pokémon was made by Satoshi Tajiri. He modeled it off of insect collecting. Satoshi enjoyed the hobby as a child. But he knew that insects were not popular and people began to play indoors. With a few team members to help he created Pokémon Red & Blue which were released in 1996 in Japan.
