​TFC Greeters: Arriving on Campus/Bathroom and Inventory

​When we serve, we park across the street, we leave parking near the building for guests and other partners.

​When walking into the building, complete a spot check for items that can be easily picked up .

​Gauge the windows, carpet, and odor upon entrance and make the maintenance department or your lead aware of any major needs/concerns. Maintenance is responsible for cleaning these areas.

​Check the bathrooms (Men/Women): Inventory is stocked, courtesy flushes, napkins filled, counters wiped.

Put a basket of communion under the tables at the front and in VIP. It will be placed out before leaving your post (9:10 for 1st service), 2nd and 3rd Service VIP and front Entry will replinsh.

​Spray air freshener in the bathroom (in the corners so that it is not on the floors).

​If it's raining, move the umbrella stand near the door.

​Repeat these items for the VIP area as well! *Unlock the door using the key on top of the frame (@ 8:20, 9:50 and 11:50)

​What Time.....?

​ Arrival Time: 7:30, 9:00 and 11:00

Team Huddle: 7:45, 9:15, 11:15

Take Position: 7:55, 9:25, 11:25

Leaving your position: VIP and Flashlight Hub 8:55, 10:25, 12:25

​ Enjoy Service: In Overflow (Next Steps room or lobby areas)

Partner Appeal: Enter the sanctuary during salvation process, be ready to move in accordance to Pastor's invitation to join the church: (Time will vary)

​End of Service: Return to your position at the end of service, remain in position until (10:00, 11:45, 1:45 )

​While on post and prior to enjoying service:

​Front Door: Open the door for guest when needed, big energy, make conversation (HUG/ make Contact).

​Sanctuary Door: Weave in and out of the line to engage with our guest. Make sure they are aware of any children and teen ministry options availible during service.

​Next Steps: Weave in and out of the lines to engage with our guest. Once the line hits the carpeted area, begin a 2nd line to the left of the 1st line.

Hub: Shine the flashlight on the ground, prior to the guest getting to you and follow through in front of their steps, until they are clear of the wired hump.

​VIP: Unlock the door, guest are allowed in the sanctuary @ 8:20, 9:50 and 11:50. Put out communion at 9:10 (1st service). Leave your position and head to the restrooms to begin an "excellence check. 9:10, 10:40 and 12:40.

​*** All hands on deck to ensure restrooms are in excellent condition prior to enjoying service****

​In the ignite side room (by the lockers) there is a door, there is a trash can in this area that RR trash can be placed.

​ Enjoying Service

​All greeters need to sit in overflow - (Next Steps room, or the lobby area)

​If you are the sign holder for Partner Appeal, you will enter the sanctuary, once Pastor asks the congregation to stand for the invitation of salvation. Begin walking to the front

​Check the Bathrooms/Communion table/ common areas and let maintenance know if there is a need for attention.

​ Close of Day 10:00/11:45/1:45

Report back to your area (before the end of service), smile, answer questions, and thank partners and guests for coming and remind them of any upcoming events. "See you next time", "Have a blessed week".

​2 Greeters will hold "Next Step" signs to direct partners to the class

​Front Greeters: Hold both doors open for exit

​Make sure all signs/pom poms are stored back in their proper places (1st and 2nd service can leave the items neatly in the Next Steps room) 3rd service place items in the correct areas near the locker.

Leave once the sancutary has "cleared". Talk to your lead about any specific needs, regarding leaving. ​Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
