La multiplicación es aquella operación mediante la cual se suma un número por sí mismo tantas veces como lo señala otro número. La multiplicación, explicada de forma sencilla, consiste en que cuando multiplicamos, por ejemplo, 3×2, estaríamos realizando la siguiente operación 3+3.

Partes de la multiplicación Multiplicando: es el número que va a ser multiplicado. Multiplicador: es el componente que indica cuántas veces se va a sumar el multiplicando. Producto: es el resultado o solución de la multiplicación.
