​What is present simple useful for?

• To express habits and routines​

• Repeated actions

• General truths

• unchanging situations etc.​

There are some more uses but this are the most common ones​

We use base form of verbs to create sentences in present simple.

In this rule we add S to the verbs with the 3rd person only in the affirmative sentences.

This APPLIES ONLY FOR THE AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES

AUXILIARIES DO / DOES​

​THE AUXILIARIES APPEAR FOR FIRST TIME IN THE NEGATIVE SENTENCES

The auxiliaries help to construct a sentences in the negative for first time, and they are completaly necesesary for the 2 types of questions.​

In negative - don´t / doesn´t ​

yes/no question - Do you ...​?

WH question - Where do you ...​?
