Multi media can be used to engage students in their own learning.
I have found this platform has many functions I require in a DLE to help my students achieve their ILO.

This DLE platform is easily accessible to teachers and students.
Quizizz is an interactive teachng platform

Students receive a weblink and class ID.
They sign in with their name, so the teacher has evidence of engagement.

A lesson, or presentation can be added.

Intended Learning outcome:

The attributes I require in a DLE:
NAVIGATION: The DLE is easy to access.
CONSISTENCY: Revision can be added. Students can access past Quizziz
VISUAL DESIGN: Multimedia can be embedded
ACCESSIBILITY: Web links are easy to navigate
CONTENT & RESOURCES: Easy to add for teachers, easy to follow for students.
MUTI MEDIA USE: video, power points, and pictures can be added.
ENGAGEMENT: Students sign in and answer questions and polls.
FEEDBACK: Questions relating to feedback can be included.

This DLE can help my students achieve their ILO.
Allows the opportunity to embed content.
Allows the opportunity to embed case studies.
Allows interactive questions in different styles.
Allows the case study to be added to ( patient to deteriorate)
Allows the students to view their achievements and retake the assessment.
Content can be in knowledge quizzes rather than " lessons."
Polls can be discussed in class.
The activity can be done " live " in class, allowing for discussion....there is often more than one answer in nursing.
