Hint: It is the opposite of regular​

​Irregular means that it does not follow the rules.

Regular means that it does follow the rules.

Irregular past tense verbs have patterns

A pattern is something you can predict because it repeats itself. ​

​These irregular verbs follow a pattern:

They stay the same in the past tense.​

​Past tense is when you talk about an action that already happened.

Present tense : Today I put the toys away. ​

Present tense is when you talk about something that is happening now.
