規則動詞の過去分詞形は、過去形と同じで、語尾にedを付ける。​

​例えば

live の過去形は lived 。過去分詞形も lived。

studyの過去形はstudied。過去分詞形もstudied。​

パターンが4パターンある。

A-A-A型（原形、過去形、過去分詞ともに変わらない。）

A-B-A型（​原型と過去分詞は同じ。）

A-B-B型（過去形と過去分詞は同じ。）

A-B-C型（​原形、過去形、過去分詞全て違う形）
