Introduction - Course Goals

1. To enable students to read and understand journal articles on research-related topics in English.

   ​

2. To strengthen

• Listening,

• Speaking, and

• Writing skills  ..... to prepare students to understand lectures and express themselves in English about academic topics.

Attendance

Attendance is mandatory for all English classes at Tel Hai.

You can miss 3 classes.

→ After 3 classes missed, you will receive a warning letter. If you miss 4 classes, you will not be allowed to continue the course.

There is NO Zoom attendance.

Exceptions:

-Army reserve duty

-College activities/exams in other classes

-Hospitalization/severe illness

→ must be coordinated in advance. Please provide certificates/proof.

Students with Learning Difficulties

(LD - קשיי למידה) or Disabilities:

• You are responsible for making sure you’ll have your accomodations (time extension, text-to-speech programs)
  from מרכז תמיכה

• Write me an E-Mail. Time extension?
