For conditional sentences, we have 2 clauses:

​1) An "if" clause.

​2) A future possibility

-If I save enough money, I will buy a car.

Instead of using future tenses, we can use​ modal verbs:

-If I leave the cake in the oven, it might get burned.

-You may receive a prize if you get good grades. ​
