​What is a modern day gentleman?

​A modern gentleman has an impeccable thirst for knowledge and education, but an even greater thirst to create and communicate the things he has learned to contribute to a greater good.

​OBJECTIVES/GOALS OF THE BLACK TIE AFFAIR

​The Black Tie affair insists that its' potential members will come to understand how the academic and social influences of this club will contribute to personal and academic advancement.

​5 Purposes of the Black Tie Affair

​1. To unite middle school male scholars of culture and honor in the club.

​2. To encourage honorable achievement in academics and character!

​

​3. To promote the social, intellectual, and mental welfare of its members!

​

​4. To assist the purposes of Jack Robey Junior High School.

​

​5. To inspire service in the school's interest.

​As a Black Tie Affair gentleman, I will consistently conduct myself as so, in which I will showcase integrity at all times. I am a leader, and not a follower. Achievement will serve as my guide through life, in which I will honor daily!
