​My first Royal academy of dance examination

​Hi, kids!

My name is Frankie and ​I'm a level 5 ballerina.

I started dance pretty late since people often start Grade 1 aged seven. I started aged 9.

In the next page I will be telling you what you will need to do on your first exam.​

​You're first exam

​1. You will arrive 30 minutes before the exam with you're bun perfectly done and your ballet clothes on.

2. Your teacher should take you to a room where you will warm up.

3. When the time of the exam arrives, do some breathing exercises. Just relax. Don't be nervous because everything it's gonna be fine.

4. When you enter the room where you will do the exam, do NOT talk doesn't matter what happens.​

​5. The exams will always be in English.

6. You won't be able to talk or to ask anything to the ​examiners.

7. You will do the bar and center exercises with your class group and the dances, on your own.​
