Parallelism, according to GOOGLE is ​"the use of successive verbal constructions in poetry or prose which correspond in grammatical structure, sound, meter, blah blah blah"

​It is less complicated than it sounds btw.

​What exactly is parallelism?

​Basically if they type/write it the same way after a couple commas, its parallel.

​The underlined sentence is an example of parallel structure. "This is used by the author to show how important the point is so it has a bigger impact on the reader," my buddy Jaden said. He is right.
