UPPER PRIMARY: Recorder Final Project and Final Exam Performance
Please read and follow all instructions exactly as provided to ensure maximum achievement. NOTE: The final performance is worth 15% of your FINAL Music grade for the term, and the project is with 3 term grades. Prepare and practice accordingly. Two extra classes will be held after school for practice and make-up recorder grades.

RECORDER: Project Portion
Using the recorder diagram provided on the next slide, create a recorder diagram of your own. All parts of the recorder must be correctly labeled and easily seen on your project (Inclusive of all holes/tone holes). In the case of the diagram provided, words also have lines that connect the different parts with their correct label. You may use any creative tools that you wish (ex. pencils, markers, paper, glitter, clay) to create or decorate your recorder. The more creative and accurate you are, the better your grade. will be
DUE: WEEK OF NOV. 21st - Nov 25th (Projects must be brought in the morning of your class during this week and THIS WEEK ONLY, exceptions will only be made for emergencies and sickness with medicals provided). NOTE: This project is worth 3 separate grades.

RECORDER: Presentation and Performance
For the final presentation and performance, you must be appropriately dressed and prepared to perform for your entire class, teacher and possible administrators. Each student must play the tune on the following slide for the class.
Students must wear their own formal attire (or Sunday best) for their set performance date. TIP: If your school uniform covers it, what you wear must cover it. ABSOLUTELY NO CLOTHING WITH WRITING, RIPS or EXPOSED SHOULDERS. Girls, if your dress has sleeves, please wear a small coat or shawl to cover them. Girls may also wear pants or a suit if they wish.
