My school is one of seven comprehensive schools in Essen.
We have two different buildings. The one on the photo holds grades 5-7. The other building holds grades 8-13.
You need about 10 minutes from a classroom in building A to one in building B.

Our school program is all about ecological, social and democratic education. As we are an agenda 21 school, alongside the regular lessons, we try to foster sustainability, mindful behaviour, a praise culture, democracy etc.
We do so by concepts like our responsibility program (V-Pro) where students work in youth centers or in homes for senior citizens to give something back to society.
