Acrostic Poem

An acrostic poem is a poem where

the first letter of each line (or

each line of the poem.

Each line includes words and

phrases related to the topic.

It usually does not rhyme.

Shape Poem

Shape poetry, also called concrete poetry, develops the physical form of the words

on paper. So, a poem about the stars would take the shape of a star (or stars).

While the words, writing style and literary devices impact the poem's meaning, the

physical shape of the poem is also important. Combining content and form

creates a powerful effect in the field of poetry.
