Nope! We will be learning how to use 3M in this class, which is an encoder that many companies allow their coders to use to speed up the coding process

What? No Book?

Do not be fooled!

An encoder can speed up the coding process for a knowledgeable coder, but it can also cause a host of problems and inaccuracies for an inexperienced/lazy coder

CAUTION!

Basic Coding

The use of 3M in this course

You will be learning how to use an encoder in this course in a very basic capacity, and only for the purposes of introducing you to different code sets and their formats.

Once you get into HITT1441 and HITT1442 you will learn more advanced coding and will need to do so without the help of 3M in order to learn all of the necessary steps for proper coding.

Once you pass HITT1441 and HITT1442, you can resume the use of 3M in your practocum HITT1266
