Sama seperti semua tense dalam bahasa Inggris, sikap penutur sama pentingnya dengan waktu kejadian atau tindakan. Saat seseorang menggunakan present continuous, mereka sedang memikirkan sesuatu yang belum selesai atau belum berakhir.

Fungsi

Present Continuous

untuk mendeskripsikan tindakan yang sedang terjadi saat ini:

They are using the Internet.

You are studying English grammar.

She is eating in the kitchen.
