A house is a building which you and your family live. A house has many rooms in it that meet the needs of those living in it.

What is a house?

A yard is the land that is around the house. There are different parts of the yard. There is the front yard, the back yard, and the side yard.

Oswaldo broke the porch swing after jumping on top of it. The front yard also has a drive way that goes to the garage. Carlos keeps his old and beat up car in the garage. Oswaldo spends much of his time in the backyard on the patio. Oswaldo's favorite thing to do is water the flowers and mow the grass with the lawn mower. There used to be pretty flowers in the side yard. But there is no flowers now. Oswaldo mowed over the flowers.
