USED TO

an activity that we did regularly in the past (like a habit)

a situation that was true in the past

Used to + v. infinitive

Be used to + pronoun/noun + gerund

•He is used to swimming every day

•I am not used to getting up early

Get used to + pronoun/noun + gerund

•I could not get used to driving on the wrong side of the street

USED TO

We use "used to" to express a habit that someone had in the past but not anymore.

For example: I used to play soccer every weekend. (I don't play anymore because I don't have time)

But: I went jogging yesterday. (That's not a habit It only happened once.)
