Today, we will be learning about comparing expressions

We will start by learning about it, then doing an example, and to wrap it up, we will do some work problems!

Comparing expressions

What exactly does comparing expressions mean?

Comparing expressions means taking an expression and then comparing them. Like see which one is greater and which one is the least. Here are some examples.

Solve on paper.

4x6=24 Now it looks like this:

2+24

So then add 2+24

Which equals 26!

Then we need to solve this on paper!

3²=3x3=9

Now It looks like this:

2x4+9

So now multiply 2x4

2x4=8

To finish add 8+9

Which equals 17!
