Definition: It's how the narrator tells a story!

First Person

• the narrator is the main character

• pronouns: me, myself, I, ect.

• look at the pronouns outside of the quotations

Second Person

• the narrator is talking to you

• pronouns: you, your, yourself

• look at the pronouns outside of the quotations

Third Person - Limited

• the narrator knows only one character's thoughts and feelings

• pronouns: he, she, they, them, her, his, ect.

• look at the pronouns outside the quotations

Third Person - Objective

• the narrator only knows the facts, no thoughts or feelings

• still uses pronouns: he, she, they

• look at the pronouns around the quotations

Third Person - Omniscient

• all-knowing

• pronouns: he, she, they

• look at the pronouns around the quotations
