During 8th hour you have SO many options!!!

Use your VOCALS with your friends in the big group!
You can be LOUD, be with your FRIENDS, you get to MOVE, you're ACTIVE and we have a ton of FUN... think Summer Camp Activities everyday during the school year with friends!

Yes it's Labeled "CHOIR" but it's SO MUCH MORE than just singing! You get to be a musician and do ALL THE THINGS!

But What's next?!

You can also use your rhythm, counting, steady beat, composing skills, and instrument skills in 8th hour choir!

Being a part of the 8th hour Class, you get to opportunity to do small instrument groups ALL YEAR ROUND!

We have "Rock Band" days throughout the year where you get to jam in class.
You can come in any homeroom/study hall/before or after school to JAM with your friends!!
You also have the option to PERFORM your JAMS for others... but you can just enjoy it with your friends too!

Self-Guided

Before choosing an instrument, be sure it's something you are Passionate and excited about!

Before you can play in a band with your friends and band-mates, you need to be proficient on your instrument of choice.

You need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic about the instrument you choose. A lot of time will be spent on your own learning how to get better at the instrument you choose.
