Let’s talk about stem-changers. (verbs that stem change)

Boot verbs are verbs that have irregular stems in every form EXCEPT
nosotros and vosotros.

When we hear the word stem-changer… what comes to mind?

Stem-changers are verbs where the stem changers, but the ending stays the

same.

We call stem-changers in the present tense: BOOT VERBS

6

media

We are only going to focus on 1 form of stem-changers:

E- IE

This means that when a stem-changer/ boot verb is conjugated, the stem
changes from an e to an ie.

The stem change is made in every pronoun except nosotros and
vosotros.
