Grading Policy

​All of NHS English Department uses the following grading categories and percentages:

Tests (Assassments)/Projects/Essays = 40%

Quizzes = 30%

Classwork/Homework = 20%

Participation = 10%

All assignments, activities, and tasks are posted in Schoology.

All work must be submitted through Schoology, even paper - pencil assignments. (Take pic)

Procedure

Do your own work unless otherwise instructed for group/pairs.

Check Schoology when absent for posted work.

Work is also accepted after the 2-week grace period until 4 PM on the last day of the grading period for half-credit on that assignment.

Half Credit

There is a 2-week grace period allowed on assignments, meaning any work submitted within that time incurs no point deductions for lat submissions.
