Application of Electromagnets in Everyday Life

24

Introduction

Electromagnetic symptoms are often used by people in everyday life. Some applications of these electromagnets can be found in electric bells, electric switches, and wired telephones.

25

Electric Bell

When the electric bell button is pressed, the current circuit is closed and current flows in the coil.

The flow of electric current in this coil causes the iron in it to become an electromagnet which is able to move the bat arm to hit the bell so that it sounds.
