​Modal verbs to use

​What are they?

• Modal verbs show possibility, intent, ability, or necessity.

• They make a sentences more meaningful.

​will, would, shall, should, may, might,

can, could, ought to, have/has to, must

​use when you want to talk about a future plan or situation

Ex. I will clean the classroom tomorrow.

use when you want to suggest someone or talk about a future plan

Ex. We should wash hands before eating.
