●Choose the hardware

●Choose a platform (Operating System)

●Create and refine

●Display final product (Working system)

Data Security

I have wanted to create a local server to host media files that I can then access from multiple
devices within my home network. This is something I could do with a hosting service like google,
however that becomes expensive for large files. Additionally, I would like to in the future create
other services for myself (Email, Websites, Virtual Storage (google drive)) that are not reliant on
third party companies to function, as data security is becoming more and more of an issue, it is
better to control all my data myself.
