​Modifiers are words or phrases that provides more information about a subject or action.

Common modifiers are adjectives (which describe nouns) and adverbs (which describe verbs)

Since adjectives describe nouns/pronouns, you will see a connection between the adjective word to the noun/pronoun word.

Examples:

1. The students are working on a creative project.

2. My classroom is messy because of their work.

3. Mrs. Camden's students are better at cleaning up.

Since adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs, you will see a connection between the words.

Examples:

1. The deadline is approaching quickly, so stay determined!

2. Write your ideas down!

3. Don't work too fast ,or you might make a mistake.

Superlative modifiers will compare MORE than 2 things together.
