How do you know if a noun is masculine or feminine?

To know if a noun is masculine or feminine:

1. Look at the article that precedes the noun.

2. look to see what letter(s) the word ends with.

Plural nouns are words that demonstrate that there is more than one thing, person, idea or place. In English you make a noun plural by adding -s, -es, -ies.
