I like to ADD the OPPOSITES! So I will change the second polynomial's signs and ADD! But you can follow normal subtraction rules if you want!

(6x2 + 3x - 2) + (-3x2 - 5x + 8)

6x2 - 3x2 + 3x - 5x - 2 + 8

3x2 - 2x + 6
