Over There and Home Again
One day, Lizard got tired of living in the hot, sandy desert. He wanted to see the world. He pulled out a map, closed his eyes, and stuck one foot on the map. "That is where I will go," he said. Lizard wrote a note to say goodbye and then set off along the road.
At that very moment, Elephant decided he was bored. he wanted to find somewhere new. He looked at a map and chose a place to go. He packed his bags and wrote a goodbye note.
5
Lizard and Elephant each went off to see the world. They wandered many miles. Elephant crossed many mountains, and Lizard crossed many rivers. They each grew very tired. Then one day the two weary travelers met.
Lizard pointed far away and said, "I do not know that land over there."
Elephant said, "I can tell you about it. it has sweet gras and lush shrubs to eat. It has rivers for bathing in, and ponds for drinking. It is a fine place to live."

"It sounds nice," said Lizard, "but that's not my kind of place."
Elephant pointed far away and said, I do not know that land over there."
Lizard said, "I know it well. It has hot sand to dig in. It has tasty bugs and thorny plants to eat."
"It sounds like a nice place to visit," said Elephant. "But I would not want to live there."
"I know what you mean," said Lizard. He thought about how much he liked his own home.

Nice meeting you," Elephant said. He then turned around and went back the way from which ha came.
