Analyze Percentages of Numbers

Definition:

Percent: A percent is a ratio, a comparison between two numbers, where the first number is compared to 100. A percent can be written as a fraction, a decimal or a percentage.

Ex: 90% = 0.90

15% = 0.15

4% = 0.04

Key Concept:

We can use equivalent rates to find percentages of numbers. We can analyze these percentages with real world context.
