Graphing and Inequality's
2
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
3
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
(1) The first step you have to do for graphing an inequality is to solve the inequality. To do this you have to remove the 9 from itself and from 11, so that you can get X by itself.
Remove 9 Remove 9
4
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
-9
(2) To remove 9 from 9 you are going to have to subtract it. By doing this both nines end up canceling each other out.
5
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
-9 -9
(3) you still have to take the 9 out of ll so all you have to do for that is subtract 9 from ll.
6
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
-9 -9
X > 2
(4) now you have to solve and once you do that you will end up with X by itself. After you solve you are left with X is greater than 2.
7
Graphing Inequality's:
X + 9 > 11
-9 -9
X > 2
(5) All you have to do now is graph this equation on the number line. there is a line underneath the greater than sign because of that you will put a closed dot at the 2 one the number line. To represent that the unknown value(x) is greater than 2, you have to place an arrow going to the left of the 2.

Multiple Select
Together Rhonda and Margo Saved $478.50. If Rhonda saved $225 of that total, how much did Margo save? Select the Addition equations that could be used to find how much money M, Margo saved. Select all that Apply.
m + 478.50 = 225
m + 225 = 478.50
225 + 478.50 = m
225 + m = 478.50

Multiple Choice
Mr. Wolfe has a box of 144 pencils. If he wants to give 6 pencils to each of his students, which equation can be used to find the number of students, S, to whom Mr. Wolfe can give pencils. Select one correct answer.
s144=6
144s=6
144s = 6
144(6) = s
