(1) The first step you have to do for graphing an inequality is to solve the inequality. To do this you have to remove the 9 from itself and from 11, so that you can get X by itself.

​(2) To remove 9 from 9 you are going to have to subtract it. By doing this both nines end up canceling each other out.

​(3) you still have to take the 9 out of ll so all you have to do for that is subtract 9 from ll.

​(4) now you have to solve and once you do that you will end up with X by itself. After you solve you are left with X is greater than 2.

​(5) All you have to do now is graph this equation on the number line. there is a line underneath the greater than sign because of that you will put a closed dot at the 2 one the number line. To represent that the unknown value(x) is greater than 2, you have to place an arrow going to the left of the 2.
