​There is a demand for the right education data. This means data that is comprehensive, relevant, reliable, and timely. In education systems overall, “there is a lack of data and information on policies at a more granular level, of the type that policy makers and stakeholders need when they are making concrete choices on how to promote education and learning for all” (World Bank 2013d, 5).
